Welcome to my new blog! I am still working on a better name for it…
As a mom of two busy kids who loves to cook, I am always looking to make life simpler when it comes to meal prep. I am a rep. with Wildtree and use a lot of our ingredients in my recipes, but will be sharing recipes and tips that are not Wildtree specific as well as some that are. I generally cook from scratch and can say that my family eats a relatively healthy diet, though my kids are still have rather limited diets (in other words, they are picky). I have recently taken on the task of meal planning and found that yes…it really does make my life easier! I’ve been at this now for a few weeks and actually look forward to sitting down on the weekend and looking through my cookbooks and magazines and deciding what the week’s menu will look like. I like to incorporate all the fresh veggies that I get weekly in my CSA as well and find that it encourages me to try new recipes as well as I often have things that I wouldn’t normally buy or simply have too much of.
